| I
met Beth in a girls’ Bible study during my first year at
Tech. Her friendship and Catholic witness was a source of
strength as I adjusted to the college environment. We’ve
walked together through so much since then – both good times and
bad. Among these, I was blessed to share in the celebration of
Beth’s marriage to Dave Lauzon in 2005. I am grateful
to have had the benefit of Beth’s prayers, experience, and
encouragement as Chris and I discerned about our future, and continue
to appreciate these things as we prepare for marriage. |

| Emily
and I met through St. Al’s during my sophomore year. We
became fast friends, and I was blessed to share in ministry at St.
Al’s with Emily and her boyfriend Paul Weber. Em
joined me in leading Friday Night Fireside Fellowship – where
Chris and I met – for two years. I also had the honor of
sharing in the celebration of Em and Paul’s marriage last
summer. This happy couple welcomed baby Noah Lois into their
family in April. |

| I’m
so excited to have a sister soon! Sarah I spent some fun times
together during my visits with the Beyers last year.
Sarah’s love for the Lord and her enthusiasm for life are
encouraging to both Chris and me. Sarah and her family have
extended such a warm welcome – I am truly blessed to count her as
a friend. |

| Christina
and Chris grew up not far from one another, but don’t remember
meeting (even though their brothers were friends!) until they both went
to Tech. I met Christina through St. Al’s, where we also
shared in ministry. Chris and I appreciate and enjoy her
optimistic point of view and her quick wit. We’re also
grateful for her strong Catholic witness. Christina recently
traveled to Rome with her family and was able to attend Mass with the
Pope! |

| Crystal
was a leader of the Catholic Couples
group at St. Al’s that Chris and I were attending when we started
dating. We have since grown to be great friends. Crystal
is one of those people that you look at and think, "Wow, God's going to
do something amazing through that woman." Her perserverance
in seeking God's heart is such an encouragement to me. I'm very
grateful for her friendship. |

| Raider
and I met very early our freshmen year. We both had joined the
club Ultimate Frisbee team, and I learned that he was also Catholic.
We lived in East McNair and attended mass together. We
roomed together in the dorms second year, and have been housemates the
last two years. Raider and I have come a long way together in the
Faith since Freshmen year, often discussing theology late into the
night. |
